#AudiotentTip 270. Vocal pitch correction.
Pitch correction can sound very artificial if used excessively. Try to limit it to small amounts, so the vocal performance stays as natural as possible. The human ear is highly sensitive to frequencies around 2-5kHz, which are very important for the understanding of speech. Any abnormalities in this frequency range for the vocals are easy to pick up, so it sounds best when we keep as close to the original.
