Using saturation to increase perceived loudness

A great way to help increase perceived loudness in your mix is to use saturation. There are multiple stages where you can use this to add harmonic content to your sounds. Apply saturation to your drums, bass, lead synths and even vocals. Use the effect wisely as it can easily be overused.
