The foundation of any sampler is its ability to transpose the pitch of an audio.
There are various ways in which we can utilise this function. Try and experiment with pitching things down.It will make your instruments appear heavier.
This may also introduce some artefacts depending on how much you transpose, adding grit and lo-fi to your audio.
