How to add focus to your high end using mid side eq

Most of the times we can spread high frequencies higher whilst keeping the low elements such as kick and bass centered. However, if your highs seem too smeary and undefined, try using a M/S eq to bring them back into focus. Insert an eq with mid/side capability. Select a side band and dip it in the high frequencies. It will make them more direct and centered.
