Audiotent Tip 325. Group to Audio Stem.
One way to make a group of instruments sound more cohesive is to send them to the same buss and apply processing (e.g. compression or saturation).
However, there is something nice about the creative limitation of committing them all into one stem. This will give you one audio file, that you can then process further, reverse, mangle and arrange with ease.
Use the limitation to your advantage and apply the processing techniques that you wouldn’t normally go for.
