#AudiotentTip 136. Filtered Delays.
Delay is one of the most used spatial effects in music production. Subtle delays help to enhance the groove and place the source sound in the mix. A lot of times, delay can take up too much space. In this situation it's best to EQ it.
If your favourite delay plugin doesn't offer in-built filtering, don't worry. Simply insert the delay on an aux channel. From there you can then use any EQ to perfectly shape the delay signal into your mix.
