Audiotent Tip 357. Delay Algorithms.
Many of the delay plugins on today's market offer multiple delay styles built in.
Once you have your delay time, feedback and general settings dialled in, don't overlook the delay style setting.
Each algorithm has its own strength and many are designed on popular pieces of vintage hardware.
These different styles can add subtle warmth with a studio tape echo or grungy lo-fi sounds of classic tape echo boxes (like the Roland Space Echo).
