If you’re not a classically trained pianist or prefer to draw you MIDI notes into the piano roll, that humanised feeling gets lost. Try this technique when drawing MIDI chords. Edit each note’s start and end points so that they’re not all the same length and velocity. This should help give back the feeling that each note was played in by hand.
