Not every studio session has to be focussed on creating a new track. Instead, take time out to explore your synthesisers and get creative with processing. Then, bounce these ideas and loops out. Label correctly with Key, BPM etc and place in an organised folder.
You can then call upon these when you need inspiration for a new track. Or when you're looking for that unique sound for your current production.
