A great technique to help you at the mixing/mastering stage is to import a track you like the mix of. This should be in a similar style and sound. Once you have this imported, switch back and forth. Notice the elements that you're missing or have too much of. Carefully listen to the balance of the kick, drums, bass, synths, FX etc and address in your mix.
