A commonly overlooked parameter on reverb plugins is diffusion. This helps to control the initial build up of echo density and effects how you hear the reverb reflections. As a guide, for clearer more natural sounding mixes, vocals and instruments use low parameter settings. If you're looking to enhance percussion and drum hits use medium to high settings.
