#AudiotentTip 295. How to remove the noise and hiss in waves and slate digital plugins.

Way before the digital audio workstations became available, producers used analog hardware, mixing desks and tape recorders. Noise introduced by those machines could quickly accumulate and have an undesirable effect on the music.
Today, in the digital plugin era, you wouldn't think noise is an issue. However, a lot of software companies who emulate hardware tend to add noise in their plugin to recreate an authentic feel of the original machine.

Make sure you keep the noise in check, so your mix doesn't have any unnecessary hiss.
