DJ/Producer Made by Pete invites you into his studio for a full 4 hour, 37 minute start to finish production course. During this time you will learn the same production techniques he used to craft releases on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Selador, Yoshitoshi, Saved Records and many more! Gaining support by a number of artists: Henry Saiz, CamelPhat, Sasha, Kolsch, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Eats Everything, Hot Since 82 and Joris Voorn to name a few.
James (Made by Pete), begins with a blank Logic Pro X project file and proficiently creates a track from the ground up. Starting with building a drum groove, layering the kick, creating bass layers and additional channel processing.
Next comes spacial effects and textures to paint a large three dimensional soundstage. James then moves to the main composition stage, creating a signature melodic hook that will stick in the listeners head for weeks to come. This section features a very unique production hack using Melodyne that we’ve not seen before.
Once the main elements for the track have been created James guides you through the arrangement process. The final lessons cover the all important mixdown and mastering stages. Delivering a well balanced and powerful mix. Each and every step in the course is well structured and explained in exceptional detail.
By the end of the course you will come away with previously undiscovered production knowledge and techniques. Along with a new boost in creativity, eager to start work on a new project yourself.
The course is presented inside Logic Pro X. However, all the tips & techniques that you will learn can be applied to any DAW. No project file included.
