BRING THE NOISE

Introducing the next chapter of the PURE series. A new benchmark in analog drum sampling. Bringing you an extensive collection of hi-hat samples, sourced from the most iconic hardware drum machines and eurorack modules. Not to mention a number of analog noise hi-hats designed inside sought after vintage synthesizers.

Inside this release you will find most of the drum machines include both open and closed hi-hat variations. Having access to both the open and closed hi-hats gives the producer total creative control when it comes to programming.

WHAT HAS BEEN RECORDED SO FAR?

Elektron

Syntakt

A highly creative 12-track drum computer and synth which successfully blends digital and analogue synthesis into a single, compact piece of gear!

Roland

TR-608

A rare TR-606 with custom modifications that enhance the sound engine. Giving additional controls for decay, snap, tone and more.

Erica Synths

Hi-Hats D

Classical drum machine sounds in eurorack. Accent and CV control over tune adds more versatility in sound.

Intellijel

Plonk

Plonk uses a technique known as physical modelling to synthesize, with great realism, the way in which sound is produced by acoustic instruments. The Plonk module is, itself, focused primarily on creating percussive sounds — both pitched and un-pitched; natural and unnatural; acoustic-sounding or totally electronic.

Skull & Circuits

Metal-O-Tron II

In short, It’s a percussion sound generator, with a focus on metallic sounding percussion. Cymbals, hihats, tin cans, gongs, cowbells, … you name it, it’ll do it. It doesn’t really stop there, it’s able to create quite some unique sounding percussion elements, as well as some interesting drone textures.

Vermona

DRM1 MKIII

Analogue drum-machine with a broad palette. A total of 73 controls, the handling of this drum-synthesizer is unmistakably intuitive.

Jomox

Alpha Base

The ALPHA BASE is the flagship drum machine of Jomox.

It's true analogue. Although it may appear similar to the classics XBASE 09, 999 and 888, the ALPHA BASE has an entirely new design under the hood.

Simmons

SDS 800

Super rare analog drum machine. The Simmons SDS 800 is a sought after machine comprising of 4 drum channels: bass, snare, tom 1 and tom 2.

Endorphines

Blck_Noir

CR-78 inspired 7-Voice hybrid drum generator. Full discrete analog generation part, using inductor coils instead of op-amps.

Noise Engineering

Basimilus Iteritas Alter

The Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteritas Alter is a drum module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. BIA is based on an additive synthesizer with six digital oscillators with adjustable waveform, harmonic spread and decay.

Drumcomputer

MFB-522

The MFB-522 is a drumcomputer with a fully analogue sound engine that offers plenty of editing capabilities. Controls for hi-hat decay.

Michigan Synth Works

SY0.5

Based on the circuits of the classic Pearl Syncussion SY-1, the SY0.5 is a single-channel analogue drum synth module with a distinctive retro sound. A faithful 1:1 recreation of a single channel of the Pearl Syncussion SY-1. The circuit uses all modern versions of original parts.

Soma

Pulsar 23

PULSAR-23 is an organismic drum machine designed by Vlad Kreimer. It has a semi-modular structure and consists of 23 independent modules. PULSAR can be used for the synthesis of percussion instruments and rhythms, bass and melodic lines, effects and sound landscapes, as well as a source of control voltage and powerful analog FX processor.

ALM Busy Circuits

Akemies Taiko

An authentic complete FM synthesis based drum voice created using original Yamaha IC's. It builds on the same technology used in the mighty Akemie's Castle but in a more complete triggered voice form featuring both signal generation and envelope shaping.

AVP Synth

ADS-7

An analog drum synthesizer inspired by the drum machines/synthesizers of the 70s-80s. The unit we sampled is an early rare unit where only 30 were manufactured.

Moog

Model D

The Moog Minimoog Model D analog synthesizer might not be your first thought when it comes to drum design. However, it's noise generator, filter and fast envelopes provide the perfect building blocks for excellent analog drums.

Moog

Model 10

The Moog Model 10 modular synthesizer is a fantastic source for analog drums sounds. The random signal generator into the 907 fixed filter bank can provide a large number of sonic possibilities.

Verbos Electronics

Random Sampling

The Verbos Random Sampling eurorack module is a great source for analog hi-hats thanks to it's three noise source outputs: White, pink and metallic (TR- 808 cymbal type).

Arturia

DrumBrute Impact

Get ready to meet a different kind of Brute. A drum machine with attitude, DrumBrute Impact is an addictively fun, instantly satisfying beat maker with a beefy, unique sound.

Moog

DFAM

The interestingly named Drummer from another Mother (orDFAM) is a rich and powerful synthesizer. Capable of generating a wide variety of Percussion, Kicks and Hi-Hat sounds.

Elektron

Analog Rytm MKII

Powerful eight voice analog drum computer. Infinitely tweakable analog engine capable of wide range of drum sounds.

Korg

Volca Drum

A small but mighty little box. The volca drum offers plenty of controls to allow for creative drum sound design.

Noise Engineering

Ataraxic Iteritas

The Noise Engineering Ataraxic Iteritas is a 10HP oscillator that excels at noise generation. This into a snappy envelope and VCA can create some unique hi-hat samples.

TipTop Audio

Hats 909

The HATS909 is the TR-909’s original Closed and Open Hi-Hats circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and was designed to sound like a machine coming fresh off the assembly line back in the 80’s.
